As we all know that Sravana Maasam is know for marriages, vrathams, and silk sarees. As we see those moments when we are growing older every year. Even as we follow the same path we saw and learned with when we were younger. Taking that as an inspiration, and remembering the words of our grand parents (" Things are easy to do when you start early") I initiated my lovely daughters Sravana Mangala Gowri Vratham this year.
My little princess Samanvitha (whom i call my energy) woke up with me in the morning while the others were sleeping. She made the Arrangements while I was preparing the food. I was so happy and amazed to see her doing all those things. For a 7 year old girl, doing all the 'decorations' and making 'Pasupu Gowri', she also helped with tambulam packets and the toughest task of all is for me making torams, there comes my strength, the saviour.
My Darling Daughter Praharshitha came all dressed up to help her sister do the torams and making kajal with deepams.
The way she held her little sister's hand while making the kajal was amazing. It made me happy to see their love and care for each other. I totally believe that one should be fortunate and lucky to have sisters. I have seen the bonding, love, and support how sisters share among in my family. I just wish and hope my daughters will be the same when they grow up.
Stay Tuned for more....
